What to expect
The first step towards periodontal health is simply making that first appointment. I understand this can feel like a real hurdle — so my hope is that your experience is a positive one, and that you feel in control from our very first meeting.
I carry out a detailed assessment focused on your periodontal health — usually a series of measurements throughout the mouth, along with any necessary x-rays, photographs and digital scanning.
We start by getting to know you and your history, and understanding what your treatment goals and expectations are.
Together we review what I’ve found, and I explain clearly what the current issues are and what treatment options are available to you.
You’ll receive a detailed written report summarising the consultation, your options, and the risks, benefits and costs of treatment — so you have everything you need to make an informed decision.
Once you’ve decided how you’d like to proceed, we schedule your appointments and begin your care.
